Shakespeare's feisty female creation. Katherine, and her mad-capped suitor, Petruchio, lead the action in this great comedy of farcical impediments, impersonation, and impassioned love.
Welcome to the colourful world of sunny Padua as the inimitable Festival Players Theatre Company arrives with a fun-packed, energetic, and brilliantly inventive production of this perennial favourite.
The play will be performed as it would have traditionally been
in Shakespeare's day, that is, an all-male cast playing several
roles each, accompanied by an original score by well-known
composer and folk performer, Johnny Coppin.
